Lebanese setting a world record for largest plate of Hummus and Tabbouleh

After 24 hours of setting a Guinness World record for making the largest plate of Hummus (weighing 2 tons)  and beating Israel’s record on the 24th, Lebanon has made a consecutive victory in making the largest plate of Tabouleh (weighing 3 tons) .

The purpose of this event to Lebanon was to confirm its proprietorship over the Hummus and Tabouleh which is supposed to be the “ambassador” of Lebanese cuisine to the world.

In addiction to that, Lebanon beat Japan’s record in making the largest plate, Which was made by Joeseph Qeblan (جوزيف قبلان). Plate is in picture below containing the Tabbouleh.

Congratulations Lebanon and I think for celebration I should have some Tabbouleh and Hummus

Poll: “My Fair Lady” favourite male lead

I didn’t finish watching the Kdrama “My Fair Lady” yet so this post is not based on what really happens in the end.

From the beginning of the drama, it was obvious with whom Kang Hyena must end up with. But regardless to the story line, we always like to see different couples.
For example, I actually see that Seo Dongchan and Euiju make a better and cuter couple and feel that she deserves him more than Hyena, but after all we have to go along with the story.

So who is your favourite among the two male lead in the drama? And with whom you wanted Hyena to end up with?
Personally, Dongchan is my favourite but I don’t really support Dongchan-Hyena pair.

MyDramaList

Organising is always great. Maintaining lists is one good way to be organised and keep track of things you do. Even if it was your watching habits.

As a drama addict (or should I say I have become one recently) I always liked keeping track of what I watched and a few days ago, a friend introduced me to MyDramaList.info, which is a social-wiki for Asian Dramas. It allows you keep track of all the dramas you watch and also allows you to contribute information about dramas to the site once you register an account there.

The site is fairly new, it has been around since September I guess and might need certain improvements but I like it and the interface is quite easy to use.

Hmm, I find this really helpful when you don’t watch on regular basis and frequently get confused as on what episode you currently are or how many episodes are left for a certain drama to complete and all that.

[Kdrama] My Fair Lady

A month ago, the Kdrama, “Take care of the young lady” which is also known as “My fair lady” started airing on KBS world. They are currently at episode 8 and I am liking it. I am waiting for the next episode to air (I know I can catch it up online somewhere but why the rush if I can watch it on TV ). A must watch for those who didn’t see it yet.

Story: Kang Hyena is the only successor of the Kangsan group and she is the owner of “Lady castle”. She lives a “princess” like life with her grandfather in a castle full of servants. She is the kind of person that is loved by many men but is feared and hated by women. Her parents died in a plane accident which made her Grandfather take care of her and raise her. She grew into a spoilt and selfish person.
One day she meets Seo Dongchan who makes her do a lot of community work, kidnaps her and later becomes her personal butler. Kang Hyena always tried to make him run way but he doesn’t.

Kpop Pick for this Week: Outsider – Loner

Okay, I was supposed to carry this on weeks ago, but  don’t know why I forgot. Well, this week, I chose Outsider’s song Loner. You won’t believe, but this man is really amazing. Watch the music video first.

First thing you will think about after watching the video is the speed at which he is rapping. It is really fast. I have heard fast rapping but not as fast as this. While reading about him yesterday, I came to know that he can rap approximately 17 words per second and by that he sets a world record. Hmm, that is truly WOW!

Now regarding this music video, it is the track ‘Loner’ or ‘Alone’ which is from his 2nd album ‘Maestro’ that he came back with this year (back in June)  after his 1st ‘Soliloquist’ album in 2007. Beside  his voice and rapping which is really catchy, I really like the music which is catchy as well.
